On Saturday, April 27, 90.5 KSJS tabled at the YMCA’s annual “Healthy Kids” event.

Our very own Alexander Scott, a KSJS Sports Broadcaster helped run the event and invited KSJS to be there, among many other departments from San Jose State, including the women’s basketball team who taught children how to play basketball and the women’s gymnastics team, who taught the children how to tumble. There were also opportunities for the kids to play fence, color, and read to dogs.

Alex hosted the event, introducing groups of performers on stage. These included a children’s break dancing crew, a choir, and even a hula dancing group. KSJS had much success tabling; it was a great way to give back to the community as well as becoming acquainted to a new demographic.
