POETRY TO THE PEOPLE!
SAN JOSÉ CELEBRATES NATIONAL POETRY MONTH
Twelve of the Bay Area’s most celebrated poets will perform at a series of outdoor poetry readings to celebrate National Poetry Month. The readings, organized by the Center for Literary Arts, take place every Tuesday in April, at 12 noon, and will feature National Book Critics Circle award finalist D. A. Powell, distinguished U.C. Berkeley poet Lyn Hejinian, Mills College professor Juliana Spahr, and Thom Gunn award-winning poet Justin Chin, among many others.
