Big K.R.I.T. Hits #1 On @KSJS FM Urban W/ @DJDAHI & @DJKHALIL Produced “Cadillactica”

This week on KSJS Urban’s Top 40 Rotation, Big K.R.I.T. Hits #1 with DJ Dahi & DJ Khalil produced title track off his most recent LP, “Cadillactica” . Big K.R.I.T. switches up the flow and spits straight bars over this futuristic production that fits the theme of his whole project perfectly. The LP is a DJ favorite at KSJS Urban, so it only makes sense that this tracks tops our rotation.

Coming in at #2 is another young artist out of Chicago who has made it into our rotation. Kembe X’s “Patience Part Too” shows his growth as a songwriter and emcee. Peep it below

Coming in at #3 is Minority Report with “R.I.P.” Willis Wilson. This was a random track found on blogs through our urban music findings which are essentially tracks that are recommended to managers in charge of programming by a member of the department. Urban director, DJ Zordon found this track very suitable and to his liking. It has quickly become an indie gem on our charts that our DJs play a lot.

The #4 Track this week is by German producer Shuko, who is an amazing talent. His track, “Heatwave” features Talib Kweli.

Coming in at #5 is Sacramento emcee C Plus, who is no stranger to our rotation. This is probably the 7th or 8th track he’s had in rotation on KSJS, and its success speaks for itself. With some very progressive production from Mike Gao, the track is one of the most popular C Plus tracks we have programmed.
