@Iamsu Hits #1 on Urban Charts with “Next Season” ft. @HBKCJ & @1oakallday

What’s up music world. It’s ur boy StrongArm with this past week’s Urban chart update. Bay Area sensation Iamsu has been droppin banger after banger lately. His latest offering, “Next Season” featuring HBK CJ and 1-O.A.K. is no exception to that. The Richmond native also recently released a 6 track EP, Eyes on Me, which sees him collaborating with DJ Mustard, Tyga and of course HBK’s P-Lo & Jay Ant among others. Coming in at #2 is Kuniva (of D-12) with his track “Derty Headz” off his History of Violence mix album. Kuniva spits fire on this dope beat from Block Symfany. Peep the track below which is currently sitting at #2 in our Heavy Rotation.

Coming in at #3 this week is JR & Ph7 & Chuuwee’s first single off the South Sac Mack EP, “Meanwhile off Mack”. The European production crew and Sacramento native, Chuuwee have linked before in the past, but now are getting set to release a full project, which drops on March 24th. “Meanwhile Off Mack” is an extremely catchy hip-hop tune which captures the essence of his upbringing in South Sacramento. Check it out below, it came in at #3 on our Heavy Rotation.

Rounding out the top 5 are two records out of Southern California which have caught fire on our airwaves. Nipsey Hussle comes in at #4 with “50 Niggaz” a potent banger expressing not only his allegiance to the streets, but also his discontent with ruling which found George Zimmerman innocent of the slaying of Trayvon Martin. The track is another reason why Nipsey Hussle’s Mailbox Money is still being played at high volumes everywhere. At #5 #OPM affiliated trio, Warm Brew come through with a banger over Swiff D production, called “Whispers”. Their latest project, Ghetto Beach Boyz, which dropped in January,  has been receiving a lot of positive praise.
