@Kaytranada & @VicMensa Hit #1 on Urban Charts with “Drive Me Crazy”

This past week Canadian producer Kaytranada and Chi-town emcee Vic Mensa hit #1 on our charts with “Drive Me Crazy”, a track that is a good indication of how creative Hip-Hop has become as of late. Vic skillfully laces the beat with dope verses and bridges and makes perfect use of both energetic raps and subtle vocals. This is one of the dopest tracksArrow of this year in my book, and no surprise that our listeners and DJs felt the same way.

Coming in at #2 this week is California’s very own Fashawn with his track “Guess Who’s BackArrow“. Fashawn has created one of the best albums of 2015 with his recent The Ecology LP, which was executive produced by Nas and the first major release on Mass Appeal Records, Nas’s imprint. “Guess Who’s Back” is produced by Beewirks, and the first track on the LP. CheckArrow it out below.

Coming in at #3 this week is Austrian producer/DJ Flip with his track, “Without Warning” which features some fire verses from Detroit spitters Phat Kat & Elzhi. This track is raw hip-hop at its finest, and yet another testament to the global aspect of hip-hop today. Here two celebrated emcees out of the U.S. link with a European producer, and it comes together very organic. Peep the track below which has been getting tons of spinsArrow in the past few months.
