Coming in at #3 is another San Jose Artist who has been having a hell of a year. Jeff Turner has been known to merk cyphers whether it be at Johnny V’s, Back Bar, in parking lots outside of hip-hop shows, or most recently on Team Backpack cyphers. His fanbase has multiplied exponentially and he is currently on a tour which is seeing him perform in multiple states and over a dozen shows. Check out his track “I’m On Em” which hit #3 this week.

Coming in at #4 is Big Mont, a newcomer to our rotation, but this track which samples “Life’s a Bitch” is not one to be slept on. Part of Big City Muzik which was launched by Al Tariq of the Beatnuts, Mont shows us his lyrical skills on “Givenchy”. Check out the visuals below

4. Big Mont – Givenchy

Coming in at #5 is another banger from eMC (Masta Ace x Wordsworth x Stricklin). The track “Moopies” features Sadat X and is absolutely hilarious. They talk about fans that overzealous and just doin too much when approaching artists at shows. This is something I have seen first-hand so the song really made sense to me, plus they kill it lyrically.

5. eMC – Moopies (ft. Sadat X)
