@Chuuw33 Hits #1 on Urban Charts with @DELHiero assisted, “Education”.

Chuuwee has been a KSJS favorite for some time now. The artist who is originally from Sacramento, but now resides in San Diego, has a reputation for hard-hitting lyrics, wavy hip-hop beats that meddle between boom-bap, trap, and other elements which craft a unique sound. One thing that sets him apart from most indie artists, nowadays is his relentless work effort. Similar to artists like Curren$y, Chuuwee drops several projects every year, and has done so for the past several years. His latest LP, Economics, is another dope one to add to the discography. Check out “Education” featuring legendary lyricist, Del (the funky Homosapien) of Hieroglyphics.

Coming in at #2 is Bay Area artist, Clyde Carson with his latest track, “Let’s Get It”. The Oakland emcee hasn’t had a solo track in rotation for some months, but the group that he burst onto the scene with during the Hyphy movement, The Team, had recently hit #5 on our charts with “Can’t Lose” about a month ago. “Let’s Get it” is set to live on his next LP, S.T.S.A II (Something to Speak About).
