Bay Area Artists @RexxLifeRaj @Elujay & @GIFT1stClass Dominate Urban Charts

The Bay Area’s next star, @RexxLifeRaj hits #1 with “Sundaze/Devin’s Song” produced by @KyleBetty91 & @Drew_Banga_. The track is a great example of Rexx’s ability to craft thought-provoking, melodic mood music that can’t be placed in any box. He has been busy as ever in 2017 with big-time co-signs, collaborations and drops. Look for the Berkeley artist to take over in 2017

Coming in at #2 this week is Oakland-based artist Elujay, who has been one of the most promising artists from the Bay Area for a little over a year now. Elu will be at SXSW this year expanding his brand, and his latest drop “Golden” is another dope  anthem that showcases his soulful vocals and honest raps over jazzy house-infused production from JULiA LEWiS, Kev Choice & Chris McClenney. Artists like Elu and Rexx Life Raj are pushing music’s boundaries while creating signature sounds of their own which has garnered them praise beyond local boundaries.

Coming in at #3 this week is San Jose’s very own, G.I.F.T. with “Good Time” which he admits is a change of pace for him. The emcee is known for more hard-hitting poetic street raps & hip-hop joints, but the wavy “Good Time” track sees him doing one for the ladies. The track is a feel-good representation of being in the presence of someone that you dig. The track has been a favorite of ours in past 4-5 weeks.
