Bay Area Legend, @Golasoaso aka Husalah hits #1 with his track “Protect Your Soul” to end July on KSJS Urban Charts. The track is the 2nd of two official singles slated to appear on his next album. The other track (M.O.B.) recently got the visual treatment, and Hus also did a dope interview on Noisey. 

“Protect Your Soul” is a dope record which interpolates a Sade classic, but also reminds us that Husalah has a knack for creating catchy melodies while still maintaining his signature gritty Mob era bars. Check out the track below

Coming in at #2 is San Jose’s very own City Shawn, who has been keeping the internet lit with various drops. On “Bounce Right Back” he is in his element, and feels right at home over the knockin Boo Gatti soundscape. The Barhemian recently told me he was a fan of this record. Check it out below

Coming in at #3 is another amazing Bay Area track, my personal favorite off the Emoji Goats EP which saw Rexx Life Raj and YMTK joining forces for a dope 5 track treat. “Issue” is a standout track and one of my favorites of the year, and it hit #3 to end the month of July.
