Bay Area artists, @I_Am_YMTK, @Elujay and LA’s @Warmbrew dominate Urban charts this week on our airwaves.

 

For a little over a year now, YMTK has been in rare form, churning out gem after gem. The veteran has been making dope music for much longer than that, but it seems he’s hit a unique stride with last year’s impressive All The Right Places LP, this year’s Emoji Goats EP w/ Rexx Life Raj, as well as several other singles and 3-pack EP’s known as Zeeky Minaj which had two volumes already. “Heatwave” was part of Zeeky Minaj Volume 2 and features fellow East Bay artist, Marty Grimes. Coming in at #2 is Elujay with “Linguistics”, a dope melodic track which sees him seamlessly gliding over the Slom instrumental. Elu has been super impressive, and is easily one of the most interesting artists in the Bay at the moment.

Coming in at #3 is Warm Brew with their latest track “Full Effect” featuring Dom Kennedy.
