DJ Sol reviews the MEØW Tour

The MEØW tour hit the Catalyst in Santa Cruz on February 18, 2018. It was headlined by MØ & Cashmere Cat, and included the vibrant and intriguing opening act Darius, a French House DJ.

All 3 acts put on incredible performances, but Cashmere Cat particularly caught my eyes and ears! His music has always been at the top of my list of my favorite electronic tracks, and when it came to his live performance, he did NOT disappoint. With the incorporation of visual elements to match the heavy bass, drops, and those high pitch sounds and effects that Cashmere dares to put in his music, it all made for an incredible show.

Following this tour, I am certain that all three of these artists will continue to prosper in their musical careers. It’s one thing to make good recorded music, but to be able to deliver that same quality live (and in their case, even better live) is something special and cannot be overlooked.
