Traffic

The Traffic Department at KSJS is responsible for all non-music programming that goes over the airwaves. The Traffic Dept. creates an hourly traffic log for the on air DJs, specifying the times certain recorded or lives spots should go over the airwaves.

New KSJS members are encouraged to join the Traffic Dept. because it allows them to get familiar with on-air DJ operations. “Hours” (Credit to Pass RTVF 121) can be obtained by helping the Traffic Director create & correct the Traffic logs, helping file older traffic logs, organizing PSA’s and other clerical tasks.
