This Summer, thanks to our General Manager Nick Martinez, we at KSJS would like to introduce to you our KSJS Radio App available for download on apple products thus far!
The KSJS app includes features that allow the listeners to follow along with our station and our DJs. Each show is unique, carrying its own genres, segments and topics. All of which are created by our DJs and KSJS Managers.
Features on the app include being able to tune in and listen to KSJS and see what our DJs are currently spinning on their shows. We do carry five different genres of music not counting the sub genres that live within each show, so either way, you will hear all types of underground music. Our five genres include Jazz, Hip Hop, Latin, Subversive Rock and Electronic.
Do you ever hear a song and want to know what the name of the song is? Well that is also featured on the KSJS app. It updates what song is being played as the DJ selects the song. This way, you are able to take those deep dives into the song and its artist. Some enjoy being the one to find an artist that they fall in love with and follow their journey being their fan. That can start right here with the KSJS app.
The listener will be able to access the show schedule for the current semester. If you are new to KSJS, we do switch up the show schedule every Fall, Spring and Summer semester as new DJs are certified and allow for a consistent rotation of new and old shows. This is one of the many creative aspects of our KSJS programs because it allows for growth and innovation all year long.
KSJS is a learning institute, willing to train and teach the participants the effective tools of communication, team cooperation and management.
